A Prayer for December — Accessible Hope International

Our theme for 2020 is "Trust & Rest." This is especially timely in these days in which we currently find ourselves. Please join us in trusting and resting in our faithful God as you pray this prayer of trust with us.

Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed;
he will answer him from his holy heaven
with the saving might of his right hand.
Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
They collapse and fall,
but we rise and stand upright.

Psalm 20:6-8

In these final days of 2020, filled with busyness and uncertainty of what is to come, our hearts are comforted knowing that You are sovereign and in complete control. We place our trust in Your love and Your mighty right arm, and not in earthly powers or rulers. Thank you for hearing our cries for help, and giving us rest in Your arms of love.

As we eagerly await the celebration of Christ's birth, we pause and remember people with disabilities around the world. We pray that You would hear their cries and give them the gift of inclusion, love and acceptance. Would you raise them up and help them stand upright as they place their trust in Jesus, the Savior of the world.

Emmanuel, God with us, we rest in You today.
