Accommodations
The Accessible Hope Shalom Retreat Centre consists of two separate buildings—the Centre and the Chiles Cottage, and is encompassed by a secure and gated compound. Large teams may also rent out the entire facility if needed.
The Centre
6 bedrooms, 4 upstairs, and 2 downstairs, which sleep 2 people each (12 total). Most rooms have 2 twin beds, while Room 3 has a queen bed. This house includes a spacious living room, dining room, kitchen, and large outdoor porch. This space is designed to comfortably house teams visiting on short-term trips, staff or team retreats, or individual retreats or get-aways. Full food service by our amazing hostesses is available by request in either Sierra Leonean or Western cuisine.
The Centre amenities include:
Fully furnished kitchen with filtered drinking water
Bread and tea/coffee breakfast (larger breakfast available on request)
Available air conditioning and hot water (when town power is on)
Private bathrooms and balconies in upstairs rooms
All bedrooms have comfortable beds, a small table and chair, ceiling fans, space for hanging clothes, and linens
ADA-accessible downstairs rooms with a shared ADA bathroom
Comfortable outdoor verandah with seating and hammock
Night security guard and gated compound
Food service is available on request
All rooms are $50 per night whether for 1 or two persons.
Chiles Cottage
is a fully-furnished, self-contained house with living room and dining room, furnished kitchen, 2 self-contained bedrooms (one with a king bed and one with 2 twins), an office/storeroom, and half-bath. This cottage is perfect for a family or a small missionary team who is planning on a longer stay, and can be rented by week or by month. However, for larger teams needing space in both houses, these rooms can also be rented for the same price as the main house rooms, and will receive the same amenities available in the main house.
Chiles Cottage amenities include:

Private bathrooms for each bedroom

Prayer Garden
During your stay at the Shalom Retreat Centre, plan to spend some time refreshing your soul in the Prayer Garden. Be still and find peace in the Prayer Hut, or spend some time praying your way through the Prayer Labyrinth.
