Seventeen years ago, a mission of reconciliation began.

And the mission is not finished!

Women with disabilities across the developing world face rejection, isolation, and steep barriers to belonging.

One of those women is Aminata.

For two years, Aminata lived with the heavy pain of a broken relationship with her aunt, made even harder by the stigma surrounding her disability. Through Accessible Hope’s ministry, she discovered God’s love and the freeing power of forgiveness and bravely took the first step toward peace. That step opened the door to reconciliation, restoring a relationship she thought might be lost forever.

Aminata’s story is powerful (See video below!)

But in Sierra Leone, her struggles are far from rare.

In most of the developing world, women with disabilities are still living with deep isolation, fractured relationships, and the painful belief that they are unseen, even by God.

They are waiting for reconciliation.

For 17 years, Accessible Hope has been walking with women like Aminata: one life at a time. Aminata followed women who came before her… and many more will come after.

This moment - her story - is just one snapshot of a growing global movement of people with disabilities being reconciled:

  • To God

  • To the Church

  • To Lives of Dignity and Belonging

Join us in stewarding this ministry of reconciliation.
